assuming you are the working man who makes the money, and the wife stays at home and takes care of the house and cooks and does laundry and all that stuff.. no children!.
how much would it cost to hire someone(s) to do all those things instead?

My Wife works hard at a great job and contributes to the household finances. We share the household chores. She is also loving, affectionate, kind, beautiful, and a great friend. Any expenditures of miney on her behalf are totally worth it.

I am trying to understand my cat
by Fisherman inlike i said on a previous thread, this is my first cat.
this cat always follows me around and demands to be petted all of the time.

LOL!!! Tell Jason "Hi back" for me. I heard about your dad's passing via my grandma. I'm sorry. My mom passed away about 3 1/2 years ago. I got married too a great girl a little over a year ago. I moved to WA state in May, 2000. Happy, healthy, & productive. Life is good. Hope all is the same for you & Jason & your family.

What Is It About Children?

is it how good they smell or how unpretentious they are?.
my granddaughter - age 9 - gave me a big smile and hug before i walked out of the door this am.. it felt good then and i can still feel the effects.. children are precious and so wonderful!.

I'm really not trying to be confrontational about the issue. I just have a different opinion, that's all. Not once did I say anything negative about other people's love for children, only that they're not for me.
Condemning someone because they don't share your ideals or values kinda reminds me of the attitude of a certain oraganization that we all havo come to know and *ahem* love.
